The Adventure Begins

As I boarded my flight, the excitement was palpable. I was about to embark on a two-week journey through some of Europe’s most iconic destinations — France, Switzerland, and Italy. Each city on my itinerary promised a unique blend of culture, history, and culinary delights, and I was eager to dive in, starting with the romantic allure of Paris.

Day 1: Paris, The Dream Begins (October 7)

The adventure started with the flight, landing me in the enchanting city of Paris. After checking into The People Paris Marais, I headed straight to the Louvre Museum to meet friends and admire timeless art. The night was spent marvelling at the Eiffel Tower, a radiant beacon under the Parisian sky.

Day 2: The Heart of Paris (October 8)

A morning visit to the Eiffel Tower offered a fresh perspective on this iconic structure. The day continued with explorations of the Trocadéro Platform, Champ de Mars, Arc de Triomphe, and the bustling Fashion Street, immersing myself in Paris’s vibrant culture and history.

A childhood dream came to life at Disneyland Park, where Disney Premier Access Ultimate made for an unforgettable day of joy and laughter, surrounded by my favourite characters and thrilling rides.

Day 4: Geneva’s Serene Beauty (October 10)

A train journey brought me to Geneva, where the tranquil Lake Geneva and a delightful 50-minute cruise awaited. The stay at Geneva Hostel was cosy, providing a perfect end to a day of exploration.

Day 5: Chocolate Quest in Geneva (October 11)

The day was dedicated to discovering Geneva’s local flavours, with a special find at Migros supermarket — the Frey Supreme bar chocolate. The rest of the day was spent savouring local chocolates and enjoying the city’s peaceful ambience.

Day 6: From Geneva to Zurich (October 12)

An early train took me to Zurich, where I checked into MEININGER Hotel Zurich Greencity. The highlight was visiting the Lindt Home of Chocolate Museum, a paradise for chocolate lovers.

A trip to Grindelwald and Interlaken showcased Switzerland’s breathtaking natural beauty. Returning to Zurich, I explored the city’s vibrant nightlife, a perfect blend of nature and urban excitement.

A train journey to Pisa to marvel at the Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli, staying at Safestay Pisa. The architectural wonders were a sight to behold.
